We drove down to Virginia Beach for our anniversary since we had not had a chance to really experience it yet. We were near there for a wedding on the beach, but it was a residential area, so it didn't really count. A couple of blocks from where we parked, Google Maps showed this place and with it, pretty good reviews, so off we went. We moved from Virginia to San Antonio recently and one thing I always do is ask people for pizza recommendations. One that was strongly recommended was Stout Pizza Company. This was easily accomplished considering it is only around 10-15 minutes from my house. So I decided to head over there for my birthday treat. I got there right as it opened on a weekday and the weather was horrible, so it was unsurprisingly dead. They had a lunch deal for a one topper personal pizza and a soda for like 9 bucks. Chanello's Pizza was one of those local chains that we noticed pretty much right away upon moving to Virginia but it took us a little while to give it a chance. The first time we tried it was a nice summer day where we picked it up and took it to the beach. It was certainly pretty good then, but that was not a fair time to review because getting out to the beach took a bit of time and the pizza was not fresh as a result. A business trip took me to northern California and I flew into Sacramento. My boss told me about a place that I absolutely had to try, one that he frequented when he lived in that area. He raved about the place so much that I made it my top priority, so right after leaving the airport, a coworker and I went there for lunch. If I recall correctly, we got in a little past lunch so the rush was over and the place was relatively light on customers.
